Coutts Digital Rebrand
UI Design | Brand | Style Guides | .com
Coutts has served ultra-high-net-worth clients since 1692. I supported the Coutts design team and collaborated with a design agency to refresh the digital identity — developing new style guides, mocking up .com pages, and researching the visual direction for a brand where the standard has to match the clientele.
NatWest, RBS, Ulster Bank Rebrand
UI Design | Design Systems | Accessibility
Three brands, one rebrand, one launch date. I worked as UI designer unifying NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Ulster Bank under a single visual identity — reskinning core retail banking products across Retail, Business, and Premier, underpinned by a unified component library and full AA accessibility compliance.
NatWest Mortgage
UX Design | Usability Testing | Service Design
The remortgage and additional borrowing journeys were two separate experiences for what is often one decision. I unified them into a single application at the point of renewal — designing across three user types: customers, brokers, and underwriters.
NatWest Markets | Redesign
Design System | Apps redesign
The NatWest Markets trading platform had grown visually fragmented — inconsistent components, broken typography, an overloaded colour system. I led the redesign, introducing a unified design system across the full platform without disrupting the precision traders depend on.
Coutts, NatWest, RBS Investments
UI Design | Design Systems | White-Label Framework
A single Investments product — Stocks and Shares ISA, Pension, General Investment Account, Junior ISA — built across three brands for 5M+ customers. I led the UI design, building a white-label framework that delivered consistent core functionality while supporting the distinct visual identity each brand required.
Payit by NatWest Open Banking
UX Design | Usability Testing | Click Testing
Loan applicants were avoiding Open Banking — not because uploading was hard, but because they didn't trust the process. I designed and tested 12 variants with 1,000 people. The results challenged what stakeholders expected and shaped the final design direction.
